With strong connections in Denmark, a discerning eye and expert knowledge of the Danish furniture industry past and present, Danish born Jeanette and Ole Sørensen launched Danish Red in 2010. What began as a single container of original hand-picked vintage Danish and Scandinavian design has become Australia’s largest range of new and Midcentury furniture from Denmark.
Located in Melbourne, Danish Red has expanded its collection significantly in recent years and now represents some of the leading and longest standing furniture, lighting and accessories brands in Denmark and Scandinavia, with new brands being added all the time.
Among these are collections from Skovby, Onecollection, Skipper, Nielaus, Haslev, Mogens Hansen, Grandt Designs, Andersen and Bernhard Pedersen and Søn.
