Danish design takes home working to the next level. Introducing Freya Desk Up

The more time we spend at home the more we need from our living spaces. So it goes that the more we work from home, the higher our demands for a good workplace. In response to the last year of unprecedented change to the way we live and work from home resulting from the pandemic, Magnus Olesen introduce the Freya Desk Up, the latest in the Freya series designed by Danish studio, Who Says.  With adjustable height and potential to angle the worktop, the Freya Desk Up increases the flexibility and comfort of the home workplace without compromising on good design.

The desk tops are available in 2 different widths – the larger 80 cm one being in line with EN 527-1 2011 standards. This also gives companies the opportunity to offer their employees a work station at home that is not only functional but suits a home environment effortlessly. The sleek shape of the popular, original Freya Desk has been maintained with the addition of steel elements to make the table adjustable in height by increments of 2 cm. Choose from two ranges of desk height: 65 – 85 cm or 70 – 90 cm.

And the flexibility of the Freya Desk Up doesn’t end there. The work top can be angled simply by increasing the height of the rear legs relatives to the front legs by 1 or 2 pre-set increments achieving an slant of up to 4.25 degrees.

But the desk you use at home still has to look good, right? Working with Who Says, Magnus Olesen continue to rank good design alongside performance, quality and functionality. With a frame in treated solid oak Freya Desk Up desk tops can be ordered in solid oak or sound absorbing linoleum with solid timber edges.

A perfectly elegant home desk for standing or seated work, the Freya Desk Up combines exceptionally well with the Butterfly Swivel or match it with one of the fixed base chairs from the Freya range. All available to order in Australian exclusively through Danish Red.
