With our first appearance at Denfair, Australia’s leading show for contemporary interior design now chalked up to experience it’s time to take stock and thank all the wonderful visitors who came to say hello and share their own experience and stories of Danish Modern design and what it means for them. There were smiles, tears and high emotion. Even selfies on the Chieftain Chair. We couldn’t have asked for more.
The iconic furniture of Finn Juhl by Onecollection was a new discovery for some and greeted like an old friend by others. The graceful, 1966 designed Sideboard 156 by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn was admired for its craftsmanship (especially its ingenious tambour doors) and timeless character. Our new Salon Chair in beech and walnut by True North continued to turn heads and impress with its incredible seating comfort. True to form Hans Bølling’s 1963 designed Tray Table proved to be as practical and versatile as it is beautiful.
