As well as being a highly skilled cabinetmaker, Wegner possessed a thorough knowledge of upholstery techniques, allowing him to conceive complex pieces requiring expert craftsmanship. The CH71 lounge chair is one such design, with cushioned curves that wrap flawlessly around a slim, angular frame. The designer also gave great consideration to the chair’s proportions, resulting in a streamlined piece that can add style and softness to even the smallest of spaces.
