46 Sofa | House Of Finn Juhl

As the name suggests, this bold and curvaceous two seater sofa was originally designed in 1946. The sofa was manufactured by the upholsterer Carl Brørup in his workshop in Copenhagen. Finn Juhl was strongly influenced by modern art which is reflected in his designs of that time and the 46 Sofa is no exception. With its free-flowing design and sculptural form, the 46 Sofa embodies Finn Juhl’s approach to furniture design inspired by the freedom from convention reflected in modern art.
