PH Artichoke | Louis Poulsen

In 1958, Poul Henningsen designed the PH Artichoke for the Langelinie Pavilion, a modernist Copenhagen restaurant. The pendant continues to enchant guests to this day and is regarded as an international design icon.

The PH Artichoke family consists of pendants available in four standard dimensions and two oversized versions. The iconic design is characterised by 72 overlapping leaves of laser cut glass or metal, available in a range of different finishes.

The distinctive shape and design of the pendant ensures a completely glare-free light no matter from which angle it is viewed. The fixture ensures the light is distributed inwards as well as outwards, thereby emitting a beautiful and comfortable light.
