VK-3 Rug | Nordic Modern

The VK-3 rug is an example of a typical pattern of Vibeke Klint from the 1980’s and 1990’s mixing the warp repp technique with flat-weave technique in the “lightnings” details, a challenging combination which can be done only by the most experienced weavers.

Vibeke Klint mastered the difficult art of limitation, which makes a design timeless, of which the VK-3 design is an excellent example.

The VK-3 rug is available in 5 different sizes, in black with white vertical stripes or in white with black vertical stripes. Both with “lightning” details in black and white and a 3 cm visible black edge.
