BPS 178 Shaker Table | Bernhard Pedersen & Søn
Table No. 178 is inspired by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn’s pedestal tables from the 1960s and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert Danish craftsmanship. Accommodates 4-6 people at standard size and offers flexibility to add more people to the table. Without traditional legs, Table 178 Shaker Table is light and airy, almost floating in a way that maximises the tabletop without crowding the floor. The table top with a slim edge profile is complemented by a sculptural yet sturdy and supportive pedestal base of solid wood with
adjustable levelling feet.
Made from solid oak or walnut, each considered piece highlights the natural beauty of the grain and structure. Prepared for two extension leaves. Non-extendable table top in white Carrara or black Marquina marble with straight edge profile is also available.
On request: Non-extendable MDF/linoleum or MDF/nano-laminate table top with black edge profile. The linoleum (21 colours) has a matte look and is renowned for its elegance and durability. The laminate (8 colours) is low light reflective and anti-fingerprint.
Every piece is made in Denmark and individually numbered on final assembly.
Please note: Extension leaves in solid wood are not produced from the exact same tree log as the table top. Variations in colour may occur.
